Palm #1
Trying something different... This palm portrait will be the first of a large grouping of 10x8's, that will be installed in a beach home in Florida. I've tried to keep the brushstrokes bold and loose, suggesting their constant sway. I'm looking forward to seeing the group framed and all together.

Fall Colors
Ice House Pond
14x11inch, oil on stretched canvas
I started this painting in the fall of last year and then got stuck with it, and then tossed it in the pile of ones to be worked on. Well, I spent some more time with it today bringing out much more of the fall colors

Something Different...
Palette Knife Apple, 6x6inch on 3/4inch stretched canvas
SOLD
I've always wanted to attempt a palette knife painting using gobs of paint, it was a lot of fun and a lot of paint! If you click on the image you should be able to see the thick layers piled one on top of the other....probably not going to be drying anytime soon.
