I've oiled out my underpaintings and now have to wait for them to dry before I begin the glazing so I thought I'd work on a quick landscape, using a reference photo that I took last summer at the state park beach on Vinalhaven, Maine.

  5. i wish i was a painter and knew what "oiled out" means. your composition seems effortless, rob. i love how all the vibrant compliment work in the lower right is balanced by the trees in the distance on the left...
