Here's a quick little painting from Carol Marine's workshop last week. I challenged myself to mix less white into my pallet than I normally do in order to achieve a more saturated outcome. The end result seems shockingly bright to me, maybe I'll gray the next one down a little bit.
You know I loved this painting. The saturated color is so wonderful and vibrant. It shouts spring to me! So nice to have met you, the workshop was wonderful!
