Well, here's my second attempt of this composition after wiping down yesterday's painting and changing the colors and lighting a little bit. I try not to let the wipe downs bother me but it's hard not to think of all of the time and effort spent on trying to make it work. I guess it's all a learning process that is supposed to make me a better painter, right?
I really like the colors on this one! Thanks for your comment...I'm trying to change up the fruit/veggie selection! Your glass work is great!

ReplyDeleteI know how you feel when a painting goes astray. One has to look at it as a learning curve,but it sure is hard not to think about all the time invested. Really like the colors in this painting. I like the use of blue throughout the painting. Are you on twitter?

Love this one Rob, your green apples really pop off the red background. You have amazing brushstrokes in your work. I like the looseness!
