10" x 10", oil on canvas

I'm back from a week's vacation in sunny Florida with the family. I brought some art supplies with me, as well as my best intentions, but I ended up never lifting a paint brush. It feels good to be back in the saddle again.

  1. Hi Rob....I love the mood of your work! There is something very strong about this but yet quiet!

  2. welcome back Rob! Great to have family vacation time! This is really nice, great color and arrangement, it is really good to reume painting isnt it!

  3. Hope you didn't go on a cruise and the title is a result of some unfortunate happening! Thanks for the comments on my blog...this looks great...anticipating more of your work, now that you are back at it...

  4. LOL. I used to haul all of my stuff with me on vacation, too, and rarely found time to paint. I think it's tough when you're with family and/or friends who don't paint. Too much going on.
Hope you had fun and some R&R. Welcome back. :-)

Love the deep blue background setting off these lovelies!

  5. Looks like the break didn't hurt your style! Hope "Overboard" didn't have anything to do with the vacation . . . I can see you're getting quite comfortable with glass! Nice work.

  6. Welcome back. Hope you weren't in Mexico. Nice painting. Love the blues.
